Hello and thanks for reading,
heres the DEAL,with timing at 14 and fuel pressure set at around 42, the engine will run smooth untill i try to get on it and bring it into higher rpms, it then somewhat bogs and feels restricted. WHAT I DID: i pulled the lower intake the other day and resealed the front and rear gaskets due to leakage. After reassembling, my biggest question is in the distributor positioning. i pulled it to remove the lower intake and took care to make sure the gear tooths were pulled and then pushed in the same way. im afraid it may not have gone in exactly the same way. What can i do to correct this? Would the car run the way it is with the distributor in wrong or would it run at all? All air tubing seems secured and all wires have been reconnected correctly, to my knowledge. COuld two injector wires be swaped? would it run in that case? The car ran good before and even when relearning an air flow or fuel pressure change. Any ideas? all would be Much appreciated. Thanks

If you check the timing, and its at 10-14 degrees, then the distributor is in correctly. if it's way off / not on the scale, it's wrong. Did you pull the wires off the cap? are they all seated and in the right firing order for your cam? Not sure if you can mess up the injector wireing, never tried..lol. Check for vacume leaks around the intake again...?
