Need water pump bolt help

A few weeks ago I broke off 2 waterpump bolts , I got them out and have the entire front of the motor torn apart. I want to get all new waterpump/timing cover bolts, I saw a website mentioned in here called windsor-fox.com , I contacted them and they wanted me to mail a money order to them and then they would ship me my bolts, I mailed the money order certified mail and according to us post office they tried to deliver it on 3/3 and 3/6 and nobody was there to sign for it .

Does anybody else make stainless steel waterpump bolts or at least something stronger than the ford bolts??

NOPE. ARP blows and have their head up their ass. I've been there done that with these god damn bolts. arp doesn't have the studs in their kit, meaning you won't be able to hook up any accessories. I cornered them on the phone and they couldn't give me a straight answer why.

you have two choices.

1. get used bolts from a junker 5.0

2. take your old bolts into a hardware store and match them up, and buy studs yourself and thread them in.

best of luck. I've thought about putting together my own bolt kit to sell, but haven't found a manufactorer yet.
 
You should be able to instruct the postal carrier to leave the package at the nearest post office for you to pick them up.

They have all kinds of stainless fasteners for almost every car. The prices are very reasonable, less the $8 for the water pump kit without the studs.

The studs are a Motormite item available at your local Advance Discount auto Parts store.

I was using a rachet and I was working them back and forth , I would loosen them a little then tighten them and then loosen them some more , this worked great except on the last two bolts . Also I used a ton of PB blaster on the bolts , my car has a 138,000miles on it I have had it since it had 70,000 miles on it and this was the first time I had to put a water pump on it . My dad who is a retired mechanic told me these bolts are notorious for breaking , and that I was lucky I was able to get the timing cover off without breaking it .

This is a common problem: the long bolts seem to corrode most and break off. I always use Never Seize on all the bolt shanks & threads when I re-assemble them. I have a 6" long bolt that I used a cutoff wheel to make several grooves through the threads, kind of like a tap. I use it to clean the threads out prior to re-assembly.

A long shank tap should be used to chase the leftover metal out of the original threads. Also recommended to clean the corrosion and dirt out of the threads before you reassemble everything. Cleaning the threads will help prevent the bolts from seizing next time (yes, there will be a next time).

good info here.

I broke a bolt off so bad, I had to pull the engine and replace it. that sucker wasn't going anywhere, it may as well have been welded into the block.
