need your expertice on gaskets and rust inhibitors

I have currently stripped the interior out of my car and am working on the rust, some superficial some pretty bad. I have always heard of POR15 and that it works good, but I noticed at the local parts store platic kote has a similar product, has anyone used it and have any suggestions / comments good or bad?

second planning on replacing headers and wanted to know what gasket set people have used and have had good luck with not leaking and keeping tight.

I used POR-15 on my stang as well as my camaro, I've had good luck with it and would reccomend it to another. I've never used the plastic cote stuff so I really can't say, maybe someone else knows about it. For your header gaskets i'd reccomend a dead soft copper one for both the head to header and header to your pipe.

on another note you might look into the locking header bolts that won't loosein up on ya.

I use some stuff by permatex for rust....works well for me!
