hey i am wiring up a fading neon licence plate frame right now and the directions are telling me to:
"wire in the white wire to the brake light and the black to a ground."
well i crawled up in my trunk and poped off the 3rd brake light bar wire thingy.
(man this must kinda scare some of you when i say "wire thingy")
sorry its a connecter, the male end. there are four wires coming out off it and i am tring to find the brake power source. they are colored as this (let me run out side and see)..............................
(door slam)
.
.
.
.
.
.
(door opens)
they are as ordered: green with orange strip, solid black, solid green, black with white strip.
so which should i tie my white wire to the brake light too and which to the ground?
remember its fading and i have to find the brake wire so it will be steady on while i brake.
i guess green is always ground right?
