You can get a code 21 if you run the codes with engine temp under 150 degrees. So if the car was cold, retry it once warmed up.

If car was at temp, I'd replace it

You did reset the computer, disconnect the battery and turn on the head lights for 10 or 15 minutes, turn off headlight connect battery and drive it then check codes.

Did it smoke before?

Smoke could be a mechanical condition and nothing to do with the ECU or wiring. Usually running rich due to programming is a black/dark smoke, while a while smoke could be coolant or burning off some sort of oil.

Thats exactly what i did not do—run it at operating temps. I just let it idle for about 5 minutes...i guess its not at temps when idled, so i will try and go at it again.

When i had the A9P in, it did not smoke like now. I will check coolant res and oil dipstick.

so the pin locations on my o2 harness should be 1 and 6 for a 92 with a manual? if you look at my post on page 2 with a pic of my o2 harness, it looks to be in the correct position, 1 and 6. I will need to check when I get home for confirmation because im not sure if that's a pic of my old harness

Here's the harness pin out. You want 1-6 for a 92 with a 5-spd

Top harness appears to be an 88-90 5-Spd harness while bottom appears to be a 91-93 5-spd harness

The earlier cars had a purple/yellow jumper while the later cars used green/yellow
