Never Fails.....

LOL, given the chance, I'll park my POS 88 mustang next to you too. I won't bang your door and I am pretty sure no dirt or loose paint will jump onto your car, but it sure as hell will piss you off. :D (ok, I don't really do this).

The other day, I was driving the 88 2.3 home from work. The turbo is starting to smoke at idle, and I had the exhaust cutout open since I was recently at the track. It's loud, but not painfully loud, I am easily drowned out by any harley davidson on the road. Anyway, I'm sitting at a light and to my right, there is a guy talking on his cellphone, of course he's not paying much attention. I pulled forward a little to be even with him, and he closed his front window so my loud exhaust wouldn't interupt his conversation. Then, my car started smoking and the wind blew it directly at his car. A few moments later the back window was going up. lol I wonder what he was telling the person on the other side? Probably 'this piece of S. mustang next to me is pissing me off'. lol

As for keeping cars I like nice: I'll usually pick a parking space that is next to a curb, then hug the curb when I pull in. That keeps the curb side safe because no one can park there, and the other side safer because there is a bit of extra room.
I do the curb thing as well if the lot I'm in is pretty full. Otherwise I'll park as far as possible.

You almost need a beater to go to Walmart these days. :nonono:

Nah ill just drive my wifes car there..:D

Well at walmart im kind lucky there as long as I go 10pm and later.I got a bud that night stocks there and since his stang has been wreaked several times in that parking lot from other people (seriously I think its 4 times now in 3yrs)he has gotten permission to use there very farthest away row of handicapp spots, ill just park next to him when I go there, besides I can legally park in those spots....just gotta get the doc to renew my tag...but before he'll do that he wants to get 4 vials of blood from me:eek: ...so I keep putting it off.:(

i just park wayyyyyyyy out in the middle of the lot, and park crooked.

That DOES NOT WORK,thats exactly why I started this thread.
Ive lived in the town for nearly 18 yrs now and it still doesnt cease to amaze me of how many inconciderate *******s there are here.

I just saw that your from west tx,what part,i basically grew up in Midland/Odessa until I was about 12.I still goto Lubbock about once a yr so the wife can visit her dad,Really im kinda missing the weather in west tx,well minus all the sand storms they used to have. Its not so damned humid there like it is here. Here you cant even walk to the mail box without needing to change shirts when you get back into the house.

I don't think its merely just about people wanting to drive by your car. From my observations people don't like to drive down the rows, they like to cut across wherever its empty or semi-empty. If I was you I wouldn't park in the middle I'd park at the end preferrably next to grass area if there is any.

I park next to the cart returns...so close that a cart cannot fit between my car and the return station and so that the person in the next space over has plenty of room to get out. If there aren't any of my "special" spaces open I take up four spots way out in BFE.

I work in a gas plant in the middle on no wear. I live in Hobbs NM but work in TX and usually stay in Odessa. Good luck with the jerks over there no one usually parks next to mine, but you are from around here most people are a little more considerate. :nice:
