So, I broke down and had a local guy here fix my rear seal. It must have blew out when I was not running a breather (another story:nonono:)

I also told him to change the pan gasket...

everything was great until i got on it a little and i see smoke in the rear view. I am like, i did not just see that. Well I drove it for a bit and it did it again. Well, I get home and there is 8 quarts in it! his receipt had 8 so i assume he put in 8. It does have a Moroso 7qt pan. But, as we all know or should, that 7qt means system capacity. (I know some run that much, but you must have some heck of a pcv system)

Drained it, added back about 5.75qt's. test drove it and no more smoke...AT ALL

Now, we will see if this also took out the new rear seal he put in? No biggie, i know he will take care of it, but i wanted to post this as a lesson known than proved and now someone else knows it! LOL:flag:
