New 2001 leather seats not reclining all the way

I upgraded my 96 GT cloth seats to 2001 leather seats recently and on my 96 seats, you can recline the seats back all the way until it hits the rear seat. After installing the 2001 leather seats with the pony logo on it, It hardly reclines at all. I have it set all the way back for my driving position (not even close to ghetto style). Is this normal? it seems very odd that both the driver and passenger seats do not recline all the way back. If this is normal, is there a mod or something to get it to recline all the way back? Thanks.

The secret:

All 99 - up seats are Vert seats............

You have to mod the seat to recline back more.

I did the mod to mine. I needed 1 more click back to really be comfortable.
