NEW and need help

So i think i finally found the "right" car. Its a 2003 silver cobra... car has 24,100 miles and 500HP, 505TQ. he is asking 25,000 however says if i get the loan aproval he will talk price with me. All engine mods were installed professionally and he has recipts. What should i look for (common problems with car) and what would be a reasonable price because i dont want to lowball him.
