There's been a few posts here, some by me, some by others, in regard to poor gas mileage. I did a search and found that there were some people having issues with their C&L mass air and that the solution, in some cases, has been to rotate the sensor in a certain direction to resolve the issue. This appears to be more common on cars that have the fenderwell cold air units with the K&N filter installed, like mine. If this is possibly the case, which direction would I want to angle my sensor to lean out the fuel mix, toward or away from the engine?

Installing the K&N inside the engine compartment has been known to cause problems with air disturbance due to the wash from the fan. This may not apply to your setup.

Rotate it while the engine is running until you reach a spot that suites your taste. What problem are you having?
