Im finally ready to swap my hci, but i need to know what bearings i need to replace? I dont plan on pulling the motor, do i just get new rod and cam bearings? Are they absolutely necessary? How hard are they to install?I was just going to install the new heads and cam/intake and run it like that and if/when the bottom end goes out buy a new shortblock but my buddy said to go ahead and replace the bearings. What should i do?

Don't replace any of them. If your compression looks good, your oil doesn't appear to have a lot of metallic content, and it's basically running strong the way it is now, you should be pretty safe just doing the H/C/I. There's many members on this site who have done just that on 100K+ mile engines with no ill effects.
