Im pretty sure that guy ran a high 7, which in the 1/4 is a mid 12. Remember this is 1/8 mile, and if you tree someone it doesnt look like much of a run at all. The vids are really crappy because they were taken with a camera not a camcorder, but the best I could come up with.
As far as the brand, I would have to ask my dad. I know they are the kind that are multi adjustable, with the spring perch and all. We like to be able to play with it and get it where it will hook. The car could easily be yanking the tires a foot or more off the ground, but with so little power, it would only hurt performance!
Oh yeah on another note, car only made 292 rwhp. So for those who say under 300 rwhp wont run 11.9s, they are right. It could run 11.7s
