I thought you might like to see some pictures of my new boat. It's an 86 hydrostream viper. My father and I picked it up last fall but we had some issues with the lower unit and eventually had it re-built, so we were only recently able to take it out for the first time. The boat weighs about 550lb and the motor is about 300lb. All I can say is it's pretty damn fast Above 60mph it starts to chime walk quite a bit.

A couple more. You can see that the back is just about under water when one person gets in the boat, so you can imagine what it looks like with two.

if your chime walking you need to get a hydraulic jack plate and jack that motor up. if your water pickup stops sucking water you can have a low water pickup jnstaled this will fix you up. i have a 18ft vking same color as you,she walks

It already has a jack plate and a low water pick up with a nose cone We are still playing around with the settings. I hear it takes a little seat time to figure these boats out. Any pictures of the viking?

Looks like a neat little boat. Nothing you can add to the boat will cure the CHINE walking, just bandaid it. The cure for this is is proper driving. You need to learn to figure out which way it is gonna fall and then bump the steering wheel the opposite direction, back and forth just a little at a time. It takes a little time to figure it out and get used to it but this will help and the proper way to fix this, and it's free.
