New brakes are a bit weak

Ahh ha, yes your right Dennis, did realize that little cylinder was the pressure valve. It is in there.

Yesterday after talking to you, I went out and adjusted the rear brakes again. Apparently I didn't have them out as far as I thought I did. System feels much much better now. I'm also going to bleed it again this weekend just to be sure, but I think we got it. Car stops with much more confidence now.

The only way to adjust drums is to make them too tight, then back off a little. No other way to know how close they are to tight.

yup, thats what I did. works much better now. I adjusted them out till they were dragging pretty good then backed them off slightly. working much better now.
