First I will let you guys know all details on my car before the problem...

Fresh 95 motor
Ported e7's matched to felpro 1250 gasket, trickflow springs
Explorer intakes, lower is ported same as heads.
F303 camshaft , Insalled straight up.
stock headers
2.5" o/r x pipe
2.5" mac cat back
stock fuel system
stock air box with walmart filter.... CAI ordered...
4.10 gears
No a/c, No Smog. CE light because of no Egr

Now before the camshaft swap it pulled very strong.... no problem in rpm range
now after f303, The first run scuked felt like it had no power..... after letting it idle a while it got alittle better... 1st and 2nd pulls hard... lost alittle low end of course but made up in top end..
now soon as I go into 3rd and at wot, it almost cuts out like hesitates sorta bogs.. I guess even alittle in the lower gears, and then snaps out of it.... Also it just feels like it should have made alittle more power than it does.... an tips..... ideas..

Any pinging with that stock fuel system?

BTW, update your sig with that mod list (then you won't have to retype it).

i would think you need to upgrade your fuel delivery system... if you think about it, porting the intakes and heads you are getting more air in, but what about the fuel? i dont know if that is the problem right now, but it may be later.

what are the specs on the F cam?

Yeah if u have the stock fuel system u are probably running very lean. I maxed out my stock system with just an edelperformer, full exhaust, and a CAI, I was going like 14.5:1 past 4,500rpm so i put on a Walboro 255lph and an aeromotive FPR and then it was perfect.

Get a fuel pump and FPR. Then try advancing the timing. I put a big cam in my car and it felt terrible until I advanced the timing.

I'm not 100% certain on the fuel system, but it makes cense those stock 19# are a little small, and a fuel regulator you should get anyway. The stock fuel pump should work fine it can supply enough fuel to 24# injectors, my stocker was fine on my cobra with ported gt40 heads and an edel performer intake with a mild cam, all that I had to do for mine was bump fuel pressure and timing.

Timing. I didn't upgrade any of my fuel stuff or tune with the B-cam and it runs great. Timing should be 10-14 degrees in my-o.

Well I rechecked the timing today when it was hot... I set it cold and it was at only 8 degrees... I bumped it up to 14-16 and wow what a difference... Now All I need is a tune or a different computer swap
