thread turned into a flowmaster debate... 3 chamber flows aren't any good, not loud at all, i bought them first then got 2 chambers. i loved the sound of flowmasters. the mac kit that i have on my car now is alot nicer. u can unbolt the tailpipes. stainless kits are expensive, but great b/c they don't rust. headers are a good idea too. if i was u, i would save up the money and get it all done at once. alot easier to do it all at once.

Do not get the 3 chamber flows, YOU will be disappointed! I had them on my old 94 GT and it didn't sound much different than stock.

take a look at Spintech Prostreets if you want LOUD!

i'd go for the gears first though, 3:73's, if you want to feel power. if you want to hear power then go for the exhaust.

Isnt it in the fender going to the airbox, it restricts the air.

if its just for a 94/95 mustang, then this section would be your best bet. If its for all 5.0 post it over in the 5.0 Tech section too.

If you wan't loud you will need to get rid of that horrible h-pipe with 4 cats on it. When I put on my o/r is got really loud so I had to go to magnaflows, I love them. BTW, I origionally went with the catted H to stay leagal but then the cats broke inside. swiched to the off road and had to get rid of the glass packs (previous owner put those on there). sounded like an old ford truck.

P.S. I hate flowmasters!

GT -
yeah I know that 9-12 hp thing is def more of a bench racer stat then anything else, but I definately felt an improvement and that is the first mod I did. You won't really notice the catback hp gain until the worst midpipe ever created is removed, however. I just couldn't imagine not having the exhaust tone ramp up after I hit the 2k mark the way my 2 chamber flows make it.
