well here was the problem, we had a six cyl. rear end and 4-lug pattern all around, so we converted to power front disk brakes (master power, awesome might i add, fit on perfectly), and we put in an 8-inch rear end for when i get a beast of an engine.

well here was the problem....

That is exactly how my car looked for most of last week while I was putting in the 9" T-lok. Now I just need to get the cosmetics sorted out and some Vintage 48 wheels. :)

You car looks really good. I put some TTs on my primered and Bondoed '65 notch years back and it looked 100% better. You have the benefit of starting with a clean car.

All of my Mustangs have been 100% rust free California cars until I got the '68. It is still a SoCal car, but the underside of the trunk lid is rotten behind the chrome, but that's all. Luckily I can get a new steel decklid for $200, used for less. My '65 just had a really hammered body; wavy with lots of filler, but zero rust.

My old man got a 1957 Ford Custom from Washington and it has more holes than Swiss cheese.

Eh, I wouldn't know. :D

My dad does, though. His '57 sat in a stream bed since the late '60s....in northern Wahsington state. There is hardly any of the passenger front floor left. He has a nice '67 Mustang 390/4-spd driveline for it, though.

More on-topic, you can bet I'll post pics of my car when I get Vintage 48s for it. Heck, I migh post pics of the two 120ft black stripes I left with it today on Mopar steels. :nice:
