Craig (Slightly_Insane) and I finally moved into a new place up here in B-ham. After countless hours of searching and looking for new digs we came up with this house which met our only concrete stipulation: A GARAGE!

Anyways, just thought I'd share the news. Any of you who want to stretch out your car's legs and make a run up north one of these weekends for a bbq and some great cruising- keep in touch, would be cool to have you.

Here's what our driveway looks like.....

not too bad for a couple a college students eh?.......

Skoobie, we are out Lakeway a little ways, probably about 5 mins past Whatcom Falls Park. As far as the garage is concerned, we are always willing to help out, if you give us some notice we can probably work something out, provided you bring any special tools needed (we've got all the basics but ya never know) and, most importantly the brew and any bbq fixin's . I know that I'm not going to be tearing into the '89 for at least a few more weeks until the fundage gets a little more plentiful - you can always bring the ride over, esp. for any little stuff if you need a place to tinker. Besides, I've yet to really see the car (except while it was moving in the other direction *flash* * flash*...lol), would be cool to check it out with the blower on.

I'm really not all that surprised on the price of the seal job, before I decided to put my clutch in myself I was quoted 300-400 labor at least, and ya gotta figure that the seal replacement requires basically the same work as throwing in a new disc and pressure plate. Mine took me a day (my 1st time, by myself), but I was in a professional shop where every odd swivel, extension, etc, etc. was right at my fingertips. I think I have everything necessary to do the job at home, and the second time should be a lot easier as well. Just wish it had been leaking back then...gah!!

hahaha jeez man, need some money? how about a place to stay? free-loader..... Oh I know you were just kidding - threw the offer out there cause it's always fun to get a small group together, turn some wrenches, hang out, etc. I'll yet you know how my seal swap goes, assuming I finally decide to stop ignoring it, got some other stuff to do first though.
