New Door Handles

^Yep,

Use a couple of carriage bolts.
Take a small file and 'square' up the 2 holes in each handle, so that the square shank of the carriage bolt fits just inside the handle.

Paint the heads of the carriage bolts black for a cleaner install.

Be sure to use a locking washer/nylok nut/loctite so that the bolts don't loosen.

I bolted my first one in, but then i realized that harbor freight has the big rivet gun, that literally nobody else has, and it's only 20 bucks, with a ton of rivets.
i believe the size is 1/4, but i forget, i know it's way bigger than any chain store has.

Be careful when the rivet pops not to scratch the door. I've seen it happen more than once.

Agreed. That thing can kick like a mule. I learned the hard way. I would say have someone help you hold the handle in place while you operate the rivet gun, otherwise you'll never get it lined up properly on your own. Also protect the surrounding area for when the rivet pops.

I just bought the biggest freakin' rivet gun that Harbor Freight had. It is massive. I got that because I will need a gun to put the bumper cover on as well. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

Just be careful with the ford rivets, they are alot tougher than the aluminum ones that come with the harbor freight gun.
The aluminum ones you can feel getting to the popping point, the steel ones that ford gives you just are one hard fast pop.
