Yeah its Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy. The cam did bring down my gas mileage. But I really don't notice that much because I don't drive it as much anymore. It seems to be getting better since I got it tuned, and if its running rich looks like I could get better mileage!

What I really meant was how much fuel to power improvement because I have plans too. You got 11hp with potential for more with adjustments. I didn't read which cam you put in. Was it loepy or mid?

I've been thinking about headers right off the bat but I figure that I want to just hit a bunch of things at the same time since I'll probably end up pulling the engine. Maybe I'll do my gears first but that's cashflow related too. I'm just waiting for the lucky lottery ticket! Oh saving is hard...

Later edit: I just realized that in a ratio type calculation weight would give you the same result as mass (effect of gravity would be divided out on both sides of the equation) so you could use either. That's just what everyone was dying to know right?!


Such a fuss over a caveat.

Its a Crane energizer cam .484 lift and I think 216 dur. It's pretty mild but the car sounds a lot better then before and sometimes it lopes a little at idle or when you're driving slow through a parking lot it will hop a bit. :nice: I really can't go under about 10 mph without my foot on the clutch.
 
216 degree cam on a stock exhaust Mustang II? Yup, HEADERS! You may also find that when the headers go on, they may lean the carb out right into the ballpark where it needs to be.
