Well fellas I got my car dynoed on Sunday and pulled some new numbers. I pulled 459rwhp and 425trwk. Don't have copies of the slips yet but as soon as I get them I'll post them up.

I got it dynoed at Tempest in Waldorf, MD. He is in the middle of moving right now but he did 16 cars from Metro area mustangs and fords club on a Sunday. No tuning of course but 3 pulls for $50. Can't beet it.

Q : Did you do the fuel pump at the same time as all the other mods? Im wondering if you added it after realizing you needed it.
Im trying to pull off the same H.P. without the pump and was wondering if you already tried.

I got the fuel pump changed at the same time to aleviate any problem. I probably could of gotten a little more horsepower on the dyno if he did a fourth gear pull. He did 3rd gear pulls with pretty much everyone but the ones he did fourth gear on came out higher....

FWIW, goto a new dyno. You can't make a pull in an American stick car in 3rd gear.... That just isn't right.... You need the 1:1 gear in the tranny for accurate numbers and that's ALWAYS 4th gear...

I guess it depends on the gearing that you have for a 3rd or 4th gear pull.

All manual trannys in domestic cars are 1:1 in 4th....

I think you would, because you would have less inertie drag from the wheels and engine parts, since the whole drivetrain will spin up slower in 4th than in 3rd
