I need some opinions on what this thing is gonna run. 302 block, AFR 185 heads, Comp XE 282 cam .565 .574 lift, Probe flat top pistons, Victor Jr. intake topped with a 650 Race Demon carb. Tranny is PA C4 with 3.55 gear and 3500 stall. I realize the heads and cam are overkill but I will be spraying also. I would love to pull the front tires a little bit but I'll settle for a decent time at the track. Any guesses?

Mickey Thompson street radials, drag launch spring kit, Lakewood shocks and struts, Megabyte Jr. control arms, Race weight is 3250. Tranny is auto so driver experience isn't a factor.

Well with it being a 302 I would go with the AFR165's, and the performer rpm intake and a little smaller cam. That stuff you listed is more for a 351 or 408 and will kill your torque off the spray and the smaller stuff will still keep your torque on the motor and flow good enough to make good power on the juice. I would also consider going with a 3.73 gear over the 3.55 unless you plan on it to offset not having overdrive with the C4. Oh yea might also consider a 3K stall instead of 3500. Now if you were going with a 347 or 351 then I would say leave it as is.

Make sure the valve springs are up to par. I hope you changed them for that cam? Should run good, I don't see anything too big on it but i'd have gone for a custom cam to make the package work better. I'm thinking that motor will want a 6500-6700 rpm shift. You could also try adding a spacer between the carb and intake to increase the runner length if it feels too gutless down low. I say run it as is first.
