Street Scene used my 06 Mustang GT yesterday to test their new center mount driving light grille shell. The shell is made from injection molded plastic so it mounts, feels and looks like an OE grille shell. The driving lights clear the hood release so there are no installation issues. ( the lights are tight but they do clear) There is no warping on the bottom of the shell and it fits perfect at all the edges. I'm told that they will be going into production in about 3 weeks and will have them available in about 5 weeks. They are making two part numbers- one for the GT and one for the V6 so they are vehicle specific. The GT will be coming out first followed in about 2 months for the V6.

On a side note, these guys were a real class act. I was very worried about them test fitting the grille on my car, but they carefully taped everything and took care with the hardware not to scratch or damage anything. This was definitely worth the wait, if you didn't know better you would swear this is a factory piece.

they need to make one for the lower grille that will use the factory fog light harnesses with smaller fog lamps. So you can get a great looking upper grille. The one from blowby racing is awesome. (Upper Grille) I like the one you have but I really like the look of the upper grilles that do not have fog lamps. http://www.blowbyracing.com/bbr-frontbumpkit.html

I agree, the lack of a grille like that is forcing me to go with the Roush design so I retain foglights and can change up the grille to one like the Cervini's one with the horse & bar logo off to the side.

Not that I'm complaining, I think the Roush front bumper is the best out there.

I'm ready to make my own. I would LOVE an upper grille thats black (maybe with the factory honeycomb design?) with an offset pony logo. I'm thinking of buying the GT500 front bumper and grille and just popping off the cobra and putting a pony.

I know what you mean... I wouldn't mind seeing the pony retained and perhaps positioned off to one side, I'll mention this to them the next time I talk to them.
