Hello everyone,

Finally and 30 years after driving my first Foxbody, I own one. The car is not in good shape, it has a good engine (347), good trans, a 3.73 diff, and nice wheels. The car will require work, but I am in no hurry. Looking forward to the experience, and the collective knowhow here.

What shape is the vinyl top in? It’s unusual enough to maybe keep, but I always wondered about water underneath them on other cars we owned.

The vinyl overall is good, no tearing anywhere, and with some proper cleaning would look great. One can tell, however, that the A-Pillars have some rust, as I can see what seem to be bubbling that is bulging through the vinyl. I am keeping it until such time that I have to do something about it, I like it.

It is a proper Ghia Mustang. Originally a 4-banger, but the 347 made its way into it, along with the 5-speed, and the diff. Thanks
