Ford is making engines smaller and have tons of hp and good gas mileage:

a 4-cylinder 2-liter engine with EcoBoost technology delivering 275 hp and 280 lb.-ft. of torque or, as a premium engine, a 3.5-liter V-6 delivering about 340 hp.

Dang! I think I want them to produce those heads for 5.0L!!!

And when are they going to do this with the Mustang V8???

Technology man....that's why I put a 2001 4.6L motor and transmission in my 81 Mustang notchback.

You can thank Mazda Speed for the 4 banger. It is a bad sob in their Miata.
