My name is John and I just bought a 92 LX 5.0, 5 speed vert! I'm down in SoCal (Tustin to be specific) and this is my first mustang and only my 2nd Ford (I have a 2014 Raptor as well) as I have been a GM guy most of my life. I've built 2 vettes, a GTO, a Trans Am, 2 jeeps and a K5 blazer and I do pretty much all my own work so I definitely know my way around a car and motor but I don't know a ton about Fords.
As for the car, she has 167k miles and is in fantastic condition. New top and the motor was rebuilt about 5k miles ago. As far as mods go, she currently has a "5.0 cobra" intake manifold, 65 mm throttle body, B303 cam, Kenny brown subframe connectors and k-member brace, 5 lugs all around and a wilwood rear disc conversion.
The car came with a brand new edelbrock performer II intake manifold which I am in the process of swapping and I ordered an SR intake, 70 mm throttle body and EGR spacer to compliment it. I also plan on shorty headers, catted H-pipe, tune and a roll bar as time and money permit.
