Mom and Dad bought the Stang in 69 and Mom drove it off the show room floor! It was our everyday car in Illinois winters, so it is in pretty rough shape, but it has so many memories there is no way I am going to part with it.
Mom gave it to me in 1989 and I actually drove it back and forth to work for about a year, then I got deployed and divorced, but the Car was back in Mom's Barn since about 1991. I finally got it out of the barn last year and I am hoping to get it back on the road. I'm confident in repairing all the mechanical issues, but Body work is not something I am any good at (I tried). Hope to have her up and running and looking like new before Mom is gone.
