new gauges

,,i bought some original gauges and a gauge center consol off ebay a couple years ago, and finally got around to installing them,

but i decided that i wanted something more modern looking, also i'm not even sure if the originals worked,,and what good is an ammeter anyway..

have to remove the window for starters,,,




hmmm............i really didn;t plan on this,,.



my wife bought me a rotozip for christmas a couple years ago,,,,,it is one of those tools that fits certain applications,,,,,,,,,,,this was one







un, yea,,,,,,,,jb weld ftw .........

That turned out nice. They fit great. If they light up clear like most aftermarket gauges do, you can get colored bulb covers to make them light up green. The Rotozip is cool isnt it? I kinda prefer the stock gauges.

thanks for the tip, i am also looking into LED dash lights,,,anybody have them ??

yea, it may not be everything you see on TV,,, but it comes in handy,

i sort of do too.............but the more i looked at them, the more i thought that if had bought this car new, the gauges would probably have been something i would have swapt out anyway....
