I got the new grill installed! I'm very pleased with the results.

Its the shelby insert from the Shelby GT. I got it powdercoated black and a repro 66 emblem for the front.

What do you guys think?

where did you order it from, and how does that emblem stay on the grille (plus where did u get the emblem from)

www.shelbyperformanceparts.com is where I got it from.

I got the emblem from mustangdepot.com

The grill comes with a bracket for an emblem.

I think It looks good. I like the Blacked out look. Does it look like that most of the time or is the lighting?

Thanks! I think it is the lighting, plus an old 4MP camera. I was going for a darkened look, I plan on darkening up the rear with the CDC cover and then doing something with the fender badges.

It does 'black out' the front quite a bit.

That is exactly what I want for mine! The blacked out grill with pony emblem. I was looking at the Cervini grill, but it's $289!!!!! How about a pic with the front of your car with the sunlight shining on the grill?

Yeah, the cervini grill is way expensive. I was looking for a cheaper route... however buying the extra stock grill nearly made this project as expensive as that. However if you just mod your existing grill it will be far cheaper.

I will try and get a pic up for you this week. :nice:

Thanks for the compliments guys!

I never used my fogs, I don't drive in the winter and for most of the summer when I drive my car the most it can be light out until 10-10:30 and Calgary has a lot of street lights, half the time the DRL is enough.

I also was never that fussy about the 4 big ass lamps on the front of the car so I wasn't all that upset to see them go when I put my blacked out Cervini in. I might still do some fogs anyways as they're kinda nice to have but I want to stealth install them behind somehow. I just have much better things to spend my $ on that foglights I don't use.
