ok so i finally got my fox body mustang ive wanted for so long. Im going to be cleaning it up today and was wondering what procedure and what to block off with plastic bags in the engine bay so i can gunk it down. Its really messy in there. After im done comepletly cleaning it ill take some pics and post them then reveal the amazing price i paid for it. Thanks for your guys help.

Best advice I can offer:

Put a bag over the distributer. Make sure it goes all the way down beyond the wire harness plug that is right there. That is the TFI... Those are wonderful.

Use a low pressure spray and rinse off the motor and surround parts with the car running (the heat will help the electrical stuff)

and i only paid......1500 dollars and it runs perfect what you guys think

and dont worry about plates they arent my real plates it isnt registered yet those are fake off another car lol

lol yea man i was soooo happy he posted it on here but i found it on craigslist he orig wanted 2k for but needed it gone and gave it to me for 1500 its got some issues but nothing major at all. Next week its getting a new exhaust from headers to catback new shifter gears and some minor cosmetic things it needs. Im so happy ive wanted one for so long.

It never fails. I buy a 5.0 and then I watch other people find killer deals . Good job on the find!! Enjoy it!!!

I'm assuming its an 88 (check his screen name). Explain pre87 rear quarters.

Actually the front 1/4 panel from at least 1983 and up will fit until 1993. I think the 1979-1982 stuff works also, but I don't want to get it wrong in the post.

because it's been one of those nights

HELL YEAH FOR THE PRIME WHEELS i have the same wheels on my car, but mine are dirty
