You don't see em like that anymore.

How is the sparevtire well setup? Is yours relatively original? Always been curious to see a stock setup as I have no clue how Ford stowed the tire iron with the spring in it

I'm wondering that myself. The prior owner lost a tire about a month before I bought the car. unfortunately that incident lost an original tire to the scrap yard. He didn't put the stuff back with much care and I have been unable to find pics of the proper set up.

If I remember correctly that spring on the tire iron held the factory lug nut lock to the tire iron.

I've got most of my original hatch "stuff" with the exception of a Cobra 13" spare swapped. Just can't figure out where the tire iron went.

On top. Against the rear most side of the trunk with the curved part of the handle down between the tire and rear/side of the spare tire well.

How about some original Boss Mustangs for your Wednesday viewing pleasure?
This 1970 Boss 302 was my official intro to the mustang world. My dad bought it in 1991. Did a complete restoration over about a two year period
Grabber Blue, original Shaker car, 3.91 rear gear and Toploader 4speed=





1969 Boss 302 Wimbledon White
This car is an absolute cream puff. This car was still rolling on an original Polyglass tire when my dad bought it in about 1996. It had been stored in a garage for 20 plus years. Owner decided he wanted to buy a Bass Boat so he sold the Boss to raise funds.
IMO, he chose poorly

The two Bosses belong to my dad.He has owned them both for over 20 years.
He drives the 70 on occasion. The 69 doesn't get driven much

Yeah, I get that. This isn't dirty talk here, but I'm a bigger fan of the '69.

Though the '70 is no slouch.

My grandpa sold cars for ford back then and I still remember them new.

I can relate. My dad worked in Ford Parts for 30 + years. I remember as a kid in the late 1970's and early 1980's wandering around the parts dept and checking out the service bays. The smell of the old school solvent cleaners and rust proofing products is a smell I will never forget

Won an ebay auction for the correct 1993 radiator I have been looking for!
Dusty pics make it look like it was a take off from years ago.
This was a better option than having one rebuilt. I got this complete radiator, shroud, overflow tank and low coolant sensor and upper hose, shipped, for less than cost of just a rebuilt radiator.
This unit appears ready to go after some cleaning and detailing
