Hello all.
I've had my '66 since I was 14 and have been a classic Mustang freak all my life. I started driving the car at 17 after a 3 year rebuild that was less than spectacular. I was driving it and working on it when it caught on fire under the dash. That was over 10 years ago.
I plan on getting started on it again when I get home from Iraq this fall. I have to build my shop first though.
During the past ten years I have had a few projects. A '76 F100 Stepside, '83 GMC 4X4, '72 C10 Stepside, '64 F100 Styleside, and my most recent project a '78 El Camino. The '83 GMC and the '78 Camino have been the closest to anything resembling completion. The Camino is a drag project that doesn't really get driven much anymore. I hope to turn the Mustang into a car I can drive and enjoy anytime I want to.
I look forward to learning from you all before I actually jump into the stang again.
