I was wondering if it would be advisable to install a new engine harness in my car since I'm pulling everything out. Painless? The only reason I ask is that a new harness is pricey and may not be worth it.
Why did yours catch on fire? I'd just gently remove the stock harness and freshen it up with new tape and protective sleeving and cleaning up the connectors. Put the cash towards important things like fuel, hookers, and go fast parts... IMO.
