Just opened up my headgaskets (ROL), they both have a slight bend in them. Approx 5 degrees. The metal ring surrounding the cylinder bore doesn't look too bad. Anyone else had this experience? Are they okay to use?

Thanks

trash it...head gaskets have to be perfect and should not be re-used. you'll thank your self for spending a extra 40 bucks or so rather than pulling off the head again.
I would not re-use them at work nor put on a bent or damaged one. :notnice:

z9_87,

I wouldn't go as far to call it a crease in the o-ring. but, yes the o-ring is slightly bent.

88stangmangt,

That's what I was afraid of. I'm trying to post a pic that shows the defect, but it's hard to show with the attachment limit. These were ROL's. How are the Fel Pro #1011-2's?

Thanks

They are new. Problem is, ordered them through mail. Hard to get locally. Also hard to prove fault.

What does everyone think of the FelPro - 8548PT2 and 9333PT1? Seems to be good reviews over at the Corral.

Thanks
