New heads VS Old heads

Well tomorrow the new heads go on and I get to finally start putting the car back together. Thanks to a donation from the girlfriend I was able to grab a headswap kit (hell yeah) so there won't be any half assing. Here's a shot of the old heads with the nice bent valves and a shot of the ported PI heads (which had to be welded and decked about 4 months ago thanks to the same GF) all assembled and ready to go minus the EGR tube. I also modified the dipstick with a piece of SS braided line I had laying around...it was the perfect length. Can't wait to get on this tomorrow. . .it's been two weeks without the stang!
I will have a complete set of swap pics available for anyone who wants them

i feel your pain, parkway ford send me a cracked PI head and i waited another week for it come. totaled 3 weeks w/out my car. good luck

Well this isn't near as bad as being w/o the car for a year! After my next deployemnt I will have only spent 9 months out of three years with the stang. . .they should comp me for that, lol...or at least give me a loaner to drive over there. . I know I saw some stangs in Kuwait.
