new here

Hey guys wuts up, my name's Nick and im new to this site. Ive only been here a couple of days and i already love it.
I thought i would tell a couple things about myself. I live in McDonough, GA (dont ever move here, it sucks). Im 17 years old and i dont have my mustang yet but i will in a little less than 3 months and its driving me insane. I have around $7,000 saved up, which will hopefully get me a nice 90 lx hatch :D . Thanks for all the help yall will give me in the future, cause im sure ill need it :p .

Welcome to Stangnet!

Two tips:

1. Buy an Notch.

2. Find one in Arizona and either take a roadtrip and pick it up or have it shipped.

You can get a rust free fox for pretty cheap out here. :nice:

So, Franky. Find me a notch, pay for it, I'll come down, take Christina out for dinner and a movie, and I'll pay you back for the notch.

welcome! you have a pretty hefty chunk saved up already, nice! take into consideration what everyone else has already said, and definitely don't just settle for any stang. look around, make sure you find one you want and make sure it is RUST FREE. for as much money you have saved up for one, it better be. good luck!

thanks guys.

when i get my hatchback, i want to paint it bermuda blue with american muscle 17x10.5 anthracite bullitts and a cowl hood. thats pretty much it for appearance. for performance, im probly gonna build up a 306 w/ some afr 185s, edelbrock performer 2 intake, and all the other good stuff. i wanna show my friends with 331 strokers and my dad with his big blocks that you dont need cubic inches to go fast. im not gonna turn it into a drag specific car. i want it to handle good around turns but go nicely down the quarter mile. thanks for all your suggestions.
