If you are getting a aftermarket fiberglass hood put it on your car as is and drive around with it on for a couple of weeks. DO NOT HAVE IT PAINTED BEFORE YOU DO THIS most of the horror stories come from people that get a hood that is not fully cured and when it gets on their car in a hot day and shrinks they think they got screwed.
If it is going to shirk it is going to shink. Getting it painted wont make a difference. I have never heard of a bad Cervini's hood, i think she is alright.
