Hey I just finished putting on lower and upper intake. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time before starting the car due to the RTV? It says 1 hr to dry and 24 hours to cure. Do I have to wait til it has cured or is a few hours good enough? Thanks.

Go for it. It won't be an issue. By the time the engine is back together the RTV will have set up enough to work with.

Ya, you should be able to start it once everything is back together... I've done it many times and it hasn't leaked

thanks for the replies. i started it up and it looks like the gaskets are holding up well this time around. no apparent oil leak so far, but i havent driven it much.

the reason, my damn rockers are so loud. it is a pain in the ass. this is the third time i've adjusted them and i think they are the loudest this time. i follow the procedure correctly (or at least i think i do) but i must be just horrible at finding zero lash or something. i think im gonna post a new topic about this.
