New magnaflows finally...

I was able to finally get my Magnaflow X w/cats and catback installed today on my '03 and all I can say is :D SWEET!!! Drop dead beautiful...

You may think it was probably a painless experience like most exhaust installs should be, but an exhaust leak made me pretty sick and I had to return to get it fixed... oh well, at least it didn't kill me.

I've got that I JUST GOT THE NEW GT grin back on my face again :D

How much was the install if you don’t mind me asking? I spent a few hours on my back under the car and got my off-road x installed with packs. Took about 4 hours and a few knuckles later all is well. I have one pipe that is about a half inch lower than the other and it is frustrating me, so I was curious to get a ballpark of pricing to realign it.

Thanks :D

I paid for 1.5 hours at $65/hr
approx $100 (don't have the receipt right now)

I paid $85 to get mine installed. It took them about an hour as well. I did have problems getting the driver's side tip properly aligned. Plus the driver's side pipe kept hitting the swaybar everytime I drove over a bump or dip. Anyway, I finally alleviated the problems, after three more trips to the muffler shop. -_- Despite the minor annoyances, I still felt the Magnaflows was well worth it.

I had the same system installed a few months ago and I'm very happy with it.

I had a local mechanic shop that I used before do the job b/c they told me they do exhausts (regular though) all the time. They needed 2 hours to do it! Here in NY where the prices are astronomical, I expected to get hosed. I only had to pay $85 for both X pipe and cat-back install. I was real happy!

Interesting story.. glad it turned out okay :nice:

I went and have this muffler shop that wouldn't install my LT headers back in Nov. 2003 install my MM Subframe. They got on the car and I heard them rev a little and everybody inside the shop rushed out and listen to my car. They were all giving me thumbs up and said, "damn that sounded very nice" in excitement. I was just standing there with the grin that can't be described and said "thanks"
