I just pulled home a 1983 Mustang GLX Convertible- Bright Bittersweet. l pulled off the stock TRX wheels and tires and replaced them with some bullet holes and new tires. Thinking that is needs some carb work and a new top. Looking forward to learning more as I am new to Foxbodies. My brother had an 85 LX while I was in college.

Looking good, and the top looks good from the photos... why do you think it needs to be replaced?

We call those bullet hole rims “ten holes” in the Fox world. Great looking 83!!!

Thanks for the comments regarding the Mustang. The back window has just about fallen out and the top has a few rips but the rest of the car is really nice. Need to get the top done and rebuild the carb and thinking that I am on the road. I purchased the car from a friend who purchased it new in TX. It needed a good wash (couple of them) and some minor TLC. The 220/55/390 TRX tires were original from 1983. My buddy took them off after a few months of ownership and put on a different set of wheels. Looking forward to learning more about Foxbody Mustangs.

Well the 83 Convertible has found a new home to a good friend of mine and I have pulled home another Foxbody. This one needs a little more work but all the parts are there. 2.3l Turbo. It has the original metric wheels but I am debating about what to put back on it. I dont plan on painting it as I like the look of it.
