just acquired a 96GT that has been sitting for 4 years. normally a Chevy guy, but it was a good deal. trying to get the quirks worked out, so i have a lot of questions about codes and parts and where things are. would appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks!

Hey JG, welcome to Stangnet.

Look around our '96-'04 subforums. You'll get an answer to your issues there. Post a new thread there with any questions you can't find answers to.

It's good to have you with us, maybe post a picture or two of your mustang for us, we're kind of picture whores here.

Welcome! New too, and new to SN-95, bought '94 GT 4 months ago. Great old car! Assume you have a V-8, then it is the 4.6L, first year in Mustang '96. Wish I knew as much about that eng. as I do about the venerable small-block OHV from almost 60 years ago! Began life as a 221, then 260, 289, 302, 351 (or is he not "small-block?). imp

Thanks, guys! Just did the front brakes last weekend, pretty easy, i must admit. It has some issues, yet, but had it up to 122mph, after the brake job and wow, i am impressed!
