New member introducing myself...

I agree...I hate seeing most of these jacked up duallys, f 350's, 3500 etc on shiny alluminum wheels and 37" tires...I putter by in my 95 'Yota on lil 31's and just laugh because most of those dudes have big car payments, financed wheels/tires and there truck never even goes down a gravel road and could never even out wheel my stock 22re 'Yota lol...IMO big trucks are for pulling things no need to jack it way up in to the sky

You'd also have to include all the Mustang guys that buy a performance car and never take it to the track or hammer it on the street. Same theory. Some people like the way a vehicle performs, others like it the way it looks. I like mine broken down in the garage. Then I can talk smack and never have to prove anything.

I see I'm going to have to bust out the pics of my dodge pulling out fully loaded tractor trailers from this winter :D

Your a funny little guy aren't you John! So “funny man” have you found a job yet or do you get paid per post on here? That would explain why you’re a post whore with no real added value to most threads.

Yeah I bought a procharged C6 (customer/friends car) which drives much better then any mustang I have ever driven but I’m sure it’s nothing like your cars you build. I wrecked my car who give a ****, most everyone on here has wrecked a car or two in the day. Didn’t you make up some stupid story about how you wrecked your GT?

I like mustangs but I don’t worship them, nor do I judge others for what they drive. People like you are ignorant and give other mustang owners a bad name. Get a clue John many of us on here have moved to another platform but still have ties to StangNet.

nice vette allen! oh so it was yours huh? i had no clue all i heard was someone on s/n wrapped there cobra around a pole street racing and had bought a c6 to replace it.no i never made up any story about wrecking my GT **** i've never wrecked a car,BUT the guy who bought it from me did say that he wrecked it!i dont worship stangs i like anything thats nice or fast as far as cars go. like your vette sweet car man :nice:! i see no where that i have judge someone by what they drive. as far as a bad name i think everone of us that have been posting useless stuff like this crap in this poor guy's "new member introducing myself" thread gives it a bad name. yes including myself.and funny you started it all off! "Yeah I bought a procharged C6 (customer/friends car) which drives much better then any mustang I have ever driven" thats like comparing a caddy to a tauras. so well i'm gonna go take a nap and get paid for it have a good day at work allen! peace

mike_honcho? You still there? Holly cow. All the poor guy wanted to do was introduce himself and it turned into Married with Children. I have run out of popcorn so knock it off!

ASD your Corvette in amazing. Sorry to hear about the Cobra (my fav) and I already have shed a tear, but I was looking at the picture with the lid up on the Vette. It reminded me of an El Camino. So I have a super cool idea. Lets remove the lid, install a tiny hot tub, mini bar, and two smokin' hot car models in bikinis and call it the "Cormino" That would be Boss. ( no pun intended from the Ford family)

Black 93 Fox and mike_honcho, noticed you ride or rode bikes. I need new blood to ride with. Any takers? I ride with a few other sport bike guys and would welcome you for a ride. I've kept it in the family. 06' GSXR 1000. Nate! If you hear this, I still want to run ya! :)

Anyway, welcome mike_honcho, when I get my turbo fox coupe running this summer we will have to meet so I can drool over your Cobra. Beautiful MC! Congrats.

I have a riddle for you guys. What do you get when you mix two rock stars and a Learjet?

DNA... I dont have a bike any more ive considered getting another one but ive got a bad addiction to speed and tend to get a little extreme on them :D I had a blast with mine 07 GSXR 750 with some mods done to it. Just thinkin be a smarter idea not to get another one. i really loved the black and orange 1000 :hail2: that came out after mine, came sooooo close to trading mine in on it.

WoW!!! The poor new guy. He just wanted to meet some Mustang guys, and this happens.
A guy with a Vette, on a Mustang site, promting his own website, bashing, name calling and putting down Mustang guys, for posting and having fun on a Mustang site.
Now if thats not enough to chase anyone away, what is??????

Mongoose,

To set things straight, some of us on the forum haven't been on here in a while,
this Corvette owner in particular; who used to have one of the sickest Terminators around. But from the sound of it, he can handle himself pretty well, so I won't speak for him, but I will throw my two cents in.

Word gets out that his name is thrown around in a thread, and those who no longer drive a Mustang for whatever reason (including myself) happen to come back to see what's going on in the NW stangnet scene and **** hits the fan. We're all pretty much a tight knit community around here, hanging out at the track or Starbuck's back in the day, the scene definitely has changed as of late. It also bites that those who don't drive a Mustang anymore don't feel welcome on a website that we all used to partake in. Who cares if we don't drive a Mustang?

This shouldn't be a factor when everyone shares the same interest.

It is too bad that this member was just introducing himself to the forum, and posts were taken out of context, but some also had reasons for defending themselves. As for the promotion of the website you mentioned, a few of us that are on here belong to that website as well, it also accepts any make and model car. Even my "concrete queen truck."

Moongoose - The guy commented on my car in his thread and PM me and we have talked offline so chill out. I don't have my own website it's a car club. If you think I was bashing Mustang guys you are wrong but I can surely start with you. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for you input.
