I just bought my 92 notch back a couple days ago and i have a few questions:

1. how can i really tell if the previous owner put in a GT-40 crate engine like he said??
2. The guy said something about having PGT40 or gt40p heads, are these any good, and how can i verify that i do have them
3. Where is the adjustable fuel pressure regulator at
4. How do c/c plates work (how to adjust)
5. the passenger side door when fully closed still has a slight gap by the rear of the door and the body, can i adjust this?
6. how much does an alignment cost

Thanks for all your help

1/2: Take a look at the heads. They will have GT-40P stamped on them if I'm not mistaken.
3: It's mounted on the rear of the passenger fuel rail, I think. Could be wrong.
4: Never had C/C plates, so I don't know.
5: Gap as in, sticking out from the body... or a gap as in the length from the edge of the door to the rear quarter? If it's sticking out, you can change the latch/striker and maybe get some new weatherstripping to fix that. Maybe also change the hinges. If it's a gap, then you'd prolly need to get the rear quarter re-hung or maybe the door doesn't line up right because of the striker/latch or hinges.
6: Alignment isn't too expensive. Like 30-50 bucks.

What's with the ttt?

cjman15 did a pretty decent job of addressing most of your issues.

Another way of telling the GT40P heads is if the sparkplugs are coming straight out of the heads as opposed to being angled towards the firewall on the drivers side and towards the radiator on the passenger side.

As far as telling if it's a crate motor, you should have asked for a reciept. Be wary of people that talk about those kinda mods because as stock mustang will feel fast compared to alot of other cars on the road.
