New member with X-Pipe questions

Hey everyone this is my first post on this site. I purchased my silver 2000 GT 5-speed in April and have been too busy to do much with it until now.

I already have a BBK intake installed, and I purchased the car with a pair of MAC mufflers already installed. I want to add a MAC offroad X-pipe and have some questions for those of you who have this system.

First, I want to get MIL eliminators with the pipe. mileliminators.com has them for 30 bucks a pair. Has anyone used these? If so, do they work? How hard is the MIL install itself?

Second, I have MAC mufflers. I haven't seen underneath my car very well as it hasn't been on a lift yet, so I don't know if the distance between the headers and the mufflers is any different than stock. If anyone changed to an X-pipe after getting mufflers, please tell me if this posed any problems.

I have heard from a few friends that the install is pretty easy, and I hope that holds true. Please tell me any tips or suggestions for the install process.

It's great to be a mustang owner and I hope I can help some of you with questions of your own eventually.

Welcome Nick. I haven't used the MILS from mileliminators.com but I just put an X on my car. I used the plug and play steeda MILs. They are so easy, they literally take two minutes to change. The X-pipe is about 4 feet long and sits in between the headers and mufflers. Then you have some short tubes before the mufflers. You will see once it is in the air. Just take your time and do everything correctly, and you will be just fine.
