Currently I have a single round rear-view mirror on the drivers side of my '69. This simply will not do! So, I found some nice looking aftermarket mirrors that I am considering...

Here's the link: http://visionhotrod.com/mirrors.htm

I am kinda partial to the oval ones, the VF2. What do y'all think?

I like them, but can't imagine how they'd look on my car. Anyone seen anything like this on a 66 fastback ??

dude if your getting anykind of mirrors go original. If you want to spice it up a bit and get a good looking original get yourself some of the race bullet mirrors that came on the mach ones in 69-70. Youll love them.

I didn't vote because I'm not sure. I like the ones you chose the best of those mirrors. I think they're nice looking, just not sure how they'll look on the car. They might look a little too small and smooth for the car.

If the shop was local, I'd go there and have someone hold one up to the car. If they take returns, it might be worth buying them just to try. Sorry, I guess I'm not that much help.

I like them, but not for a classic Mustang. It looks like you'll have to mount them on the vertical side of the door and not the top, which I believe will put them too low. JMO

I like the stock racing mirrors better, I have them on the 69 and the 70.

Larry,

I love those mirrors on 64-68's, but think they would look 'off' on a '69

That's just my opinion though. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, the bases are different, but the uppers are the same, you could try and get some 70's model mirrors that are the same shape to put on there, many of these have dual manual remotes, a friend of mine is taking the electric guts out of some Lincoln mirrors and putting into some similar shaped mirrors for his '72 Mustang. He bought late 70's T-bird mirrors for the conversion.
