Which reminds me. If you have a big cam, and a rear view mirror that screws onto the windshield tab, I would suggest getting the newer snap on style mirror.(I pulled mine from a '90s Escort) The reason is, the screw in my original mirror would always vibrate loose. One time, I launched off a stoplight, the tires got great traction for some reason, and that damn mirror flew straight back, bounced off my stupid skull and landed up against the glass on the rear deck. Dumb ass thing.

My camshaft is 250i/260e dur @.050", and the car shakes so bad that everything in the rear view mirror is blurred at idle, and if I set a soda can on the dashboard, it'll knock it over.

That is a ton of duration @ .050 !!!
My new cam for the stroker I am building is 230@.050 with a 512 lift I know this will have a rough idle compared to the lunati I have now 218@ .050 & 488 lift.

Yeah, you will definitely notice the cam, although compression ratio is important to consider when making a cam choice, as higher compression will tend to make the motor idle smoother and have more vac.(and more low speed torque, too) My previous cam was a 228/238 solid grind. That motor was a stock displacement 302 with 351W ported heads, and it had a pretty lopey idle with 9.5:1 compression. Yours will be a good cam choice; slightly radical, but still enough low end torque.

That is exactly what I am going for. I originally wanted a pro stock sound but did not want to be a turd at the line. The comp. on my stroker should be approx 10.2:1
