new motor on its way

just stopped off at the machine shop today to check up on my motor its being bored .060 over speed pro forged pistons new ford rods and the bottom end is being balanced and assembled for 1800 big ones ....heres the progress so far ...polished crank bead blasted block and new pistons .... does anyone know what the displacement will be after going .060 over?

.060 over??? You like living on the dangerous side, don't ya? Unless of course it is a Dart block or something like that.
Displacement will be infinite when you crack that biotch in half.........

disp will be somewhere around 312...barely worth the danger to the block if you're thinking HP gains IMO 10 max.

Is it a stock block? Was it bored .030 over previously?

looks nice and clean.....however, i am also wondering why you went with .060 over? seems a little risky?!

.60 over is a 310

the block is in fact stock the machinist doing the work would not let it leave his shop if it was not safe he is very passionate about his work if you couldnt tell by the workmanship it will have no problems with cooling the block was origanally .030 over but would not clean up with another .010 and seeing as you cant go .050 over 60 is the only option to get it to clean up i will keep you posted with pics and let you see the end result

Good luck with that... a .060 stock block is scary in my eyes. You got yourself some paper thing walls in there!
