Just changed out the motor and tranny mounts on my 89GT and wow what a improvment. Now more difficult shifts, vibration, shifter shake, clunking, and it now the whole car doesnt shake like it has the worlds biggest cam in it. Have'nttaken it on the highwau yet but i hope its alot smoother. I do still have a little vibration @ 3500 when in neutral but it clears up after 4k. i guess the harmonic balancer is next in order, along with a new rack and offset bushings.

They are stronger than hardtop mounts (different design) and sit lower

They are quiet a bit easier to install as well. seems like it to me anyways, i did both motor mounts and tranny mount in about 25mins.

Stock ones are junk. Usually they come off in a million pieces when you finally have to change them.
