Tomorrow I am getting a 1993 Mustang convertible :O

Its only a four banger, but has a way better body and interior than the one I have now does, so I plan on swapping everything out of mine into this one.

I am trading a 1990 Toyota truck that I bought for only 200 bucks and have put maybe another 200 bucks into it straight across for it, so its practically a four hundred dollar Mustang, and it has full black interior :O

Ill get pics tomorrow

WHOA! Just an FYI you might want to take that Toyota to the local dealer. There is a buy back at 1.5 times bluebook. If it has rust on the frame. I cannot remember the year range, but we have seen a bunch come thru where I work. Some guys are making out like bandits on these babies.

Really? Is that just a straight buy back, or for a trade in?

oh i just checked with our service guys and its not for 1990. Its only for 95 to 2001 trucks that are called Tacoma and were built out in California. Sorry, for getting your hopes up but they were giving 1.5 times good bluebook. So I figured it was worth checking into.

Okay I FINALLY got the car, the guy was a huge pain to deal with. The car is in really good shape. Interior is good, only thing I need to get are new speaker grill covers for the doors, new door handle bezels. and fix the handle on the driver side, oh and the speaker grills for the rear are all jacked up so probably need to find some new ones for those.

Question I have is after I pulled the rear speaker grills off for the back, the speaker was gone, but I see no way on how it is suppose to sit in there anyway. Does anyone have any pics of the rear speakers with the grills off for a convertible?

The speakers are attached to the grille. Here's an example. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-9...ies?hash=item23020f28e6&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245

there are mounting tabs built into the rear 1/4's. they often break off and it could be why there is no speaker in there.

The interior is black, but I wouldn't mind painting them if I had to.. but after looking at it farther, the holes that they are suppose to bolt to are broken off I think for where they screw into.. I see no way that they are suppose to attach to the car by looking at the grill.

Finally got some pictures of the convertible

This is the only major damage done to the entire car..

And there is a small dent in this fender on the driver side

Car has full black interior, everything works perfectly, even the AC. One small crack on the left tail light, rear speaker grills are pretty crappy. The mirror switch was broke but I had a spare one of them sitting around.. All ive done to the car is wash it, vacuum it and then armor all the interior, and the interior looks great

I payed 200 for the truck I traded for it, then maybe put 200 in parts and stuff to the truck, then 100 dollars for sales tax and licensing on the car. So roughly the car only cost about 500 dollars

Not a bad little 4-banger. Will look nice with a v8 under the hood.
