New Mustang guy

Hello everyone!! I've been into Mustangs for years, but never bought one because the **** I would have to hear from my dumb ass GM friends. Last week I finally bought one. It's a 94 GT 5-speed all stock. Does anyone have any ideas of what mods I can do to this car? Thanks

Welcome aboard!

To save time I would point you in the direction of our lovely search button, so often pointed to by more veteran members. Also check out allfordmustangs.com they have some good beginner performance tech articles. If you run into questions the guys here are good at answering them and are always helpful!

Good luck with the stang...it'll bring you many years of happiness.

haha...think you came to the right place

Start with a Cobra Intake, 65 mm throttle body, MAC headers (of any sort) X or H pipe from MAC or BBK, a good cat back, some gears (3:73's or 4:10's) and you'll be good to go

oh yeah, lower it.

Welcome aboard, too many ways to make power for this post alone, look at the sticky at the top for others combos, and power numbers. Have fun, make your car unique to you and ask lots of questions. And for gods sake PUT PICTURES UP!!!!!
LOL

First go through the car and make sure everything is o.k. Check the brakes/rotors look at all the bushings. Change the tranny fluid (most people never do this) spark plugs, cap, rotor, and fuel filter, ect, ect. Then sit down and figure out what your long term plans for the car is. Makes no sense to start thowing parts at it, to later on take them off because they don't fit you long term plans after all. Welcome to the forums and the "search" button is your friend.

Welcome to stangnet

You can go as far as your pocket book can afford with "mod's".

You need to get an idea of what you want to do short term and long term and figure out what you can really afford then the question will be much easier to answer.

I whould start with A o/r h pipe opens it up nice then gear's! oh yeah welcome to SN and let your friend's talk s*** cause they ant geting no girl's in thoes ugly buttrocker cevy's! the girl's love stang's

Welcome to the forum. I agree with the "determine what you want the car to do or be" direction. Let us know that and we can be much more helpful.

Do you want a show car?
Do you want a street/strip car?
Do you want a weekend race car?
Do you have to pass emission testing?
Are you on a tight budget or do you have deep pockets?
